meet the team

The AE design team has worked on hundreds of projects together for local, regional, statewide, and national clients. Stop by our Lansing offices and find out what we can do for you!

john k. addis | ceo & creative director

From his early days designing websites at Carnegie Mellon and producing courses for Michigan State, John has been active in new media production since the very beginning of the web. His work has been discussed and highlighted in local and national press, including CBS News, CNN's Lou Dobbs, The Atlantic, The New York Times, and even parodied on The Tonight Show.

Whether in his capacity as Creative Director for client campaigns or through his hobbies of music, writing, and photography, John is passionate about the creative process and enjoys the personal challenges behind every endeavor.

tony sabo | web & media director

Tony Sabo has been working in the multimedia field for the past two decades. With a wide variety of responsibilities as a lead media developer, Tony’s passion and love for creativity revolves around 3D animation. His last independent project includes working on the X Games mock concepts to be aired on SpikeTV. He is also like a Ninja that slices and dices up Photoshop web mocks into pixel-perfect responsive designs.

Some of Tony’s hobbies include traveling, sports, video games, and spending time with his son. His favorite music artists are Billy Idol, Depeche Mode, INXS, and St. Lucia. Can you tell he’s stuck in the 80’s?

jodi miller | print media director

With over 25 years of design experience, Jodi Miller has the passion and knowledge to create unique print designs. After graduating from LCC with a Commercial Art: Advertising and Layout degree, Jodi started her design career at Sony Music Nashville where she worked her way up from production artist to art director. After her stint in Nashville, Jodi moved back to Lansing where her designs can be seen within educational, insurance, healthcare, library, and commercial industries.

Aside from her creative talent and technical skills, Jodi approaches each project with a positive attitude, an open mind, and a knack for balancing innovation and practicality.

hannah rhadigan | director of operations

Hannah has returned to her home state after four years working in New York City in the field of arts administration. Having graduated from Lafayette College with a degree in Studio Arts and Business Econ, she is able to combine her business acumen with her artistic loves. From big picture logistics to the small details of everyday workflow, Hannah's extensive experience working in the creative sector ensures that clients and creatives come together to produce innovative and cutting edge-content.

When she is not getting excited about Excel spreadsheets and managing office workflow, Hannah enjoys playing pool, shooting street photography, and wakeboarding.

john everden | lead programmer

John has an extensive background and proven track record writing and deploying web software and e-commerce websites, and his experience and expertise spans many different programming languages and platforms. John has developed financial billing systems for a well-known telecommunication provider tracking and billing tens of millions of dollars, led large web projects for high-profile companies such as Tyson Chicken, and created custom PHP applications for clients large and small.

In his free time when John isn’t researching the next cutting-edge programming techniques, he enjoys spending time fishing, camping and canoeing with his wife and three children.

dominique ari | web & media developer

Dominique is an artist, passionate about his work and always eager to learn and improve. Like the rest of the AE team, he's never willing to settle for less than his very best. In addition to Photoshop and Illustrator skills, he has significant experience with many different artistic mediums, such as simple pencil and paper, painting on canvas, and mural painting. His only problem is that he wants to be good at everything.

When Dominique isn’t creating art for client projects, he enjoys many hobbies including painting, playing guitar, working on cars and motorcycles, sports, video games, and listening to an eclectic variety of music.

sommer lyn young | media specialist

Sommer has a background as a portrait photographer, owning her own business for six years while living in Alabama and South Korea. After moving back from overseas, she developed knowledge in banking and administrative skills. She has a high attention to detail and focus for revising and editing content, and a passion for experience architecture. She recently found a home at AE combining her aptitude for careful review with a creative eye recognizing when things are “just right.”

When she is not working or studying she loves traveling, walking through the woods, playing Euchre with her family and beating guys at arm wrestling.

irfan mir | experience designer & accessibility expert

AE is uniquely committed to accessibility, and was one of the first mid-Michigan design firms to employ a full-time in-house accessibility expert, Irfan Mir. Irfan holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Experience Architecture from Michigan State University. He takes this formal education in User Experience (UX) along with work experience in accessibility (a11y), design, and development and supplemental coursework in cognitive psychology to approach all of these fields from a new perspective. Irfan is a locally recognized leader in WCAG 2.0 AA accessibility, including all software packages and screen readers required to identify, track and remediate accessibility violations.

alec klungle | marketing coordinator

Alec holds fast to a few key values: there is hidden potential in every situation, data is a powerful tool, and bats are objectively the scariest animal on the planet. With a degree from Michigan State, he brings a fresh perspective and an ambitious pursuit of success to the marketing process. In the outside world, Alec usually cannot be found as he is typically lost in the deep wilderness with his furry Siberian companion, Rosie. He appreciates bitter IPAs and lengthy books on the history of Ancient Rome.

matthew missias | learning development director

Matt Missias brings to Addis Enterprises his passion for giving everyone the opportunity to learn. With his recognized expertise in education and policy, Matt ensures that client projects meet educational best practices, while providing the most engaging experience for learners of all skill levels and abilities.

In addition to his years providing classroom instruction, Matt stays on top of the new technologies which have spurred an online training and education boom, of which businesses and organizations of all shapes and sizes now take advantage.

jennifer berggren | media producer

Jenny is a storyteller, using video as her medium to take ideas and make them come alive. Her strengths in production management and editing serve beautifully as our in-house media producer. Her background extends from live sports production to cinematic wedding films, but her passion lies in documentary filmmaking. You’ll love working with her when creating your own video content, but even more so, you’ll love the final product.

Aside from her passion for film and television, Jenny loves backpacking through God’s creation, enjoying espresso, Instagram photography, and terribly-amazing puns.
